Project save the plants is complete

My intelligent 15 month old daughter is now walking, climbing and reaching from the tips of the her toes to places my husband and I thought safe for at least several more months.  In a preemptive strike I started looking for a way to move my struggling house plants out of her reach.

My first thought was to hang my plants in the window and then I had nightmares about 1970's macrome with all those complicated knots and beads in lime green, rust and burnt orange colors.  Then I found some promising leads on pinterest and then via the help of google I found simple easy to follow instructions at gleefull things .

Project save the plants....

So my daughter has just started walking in the last couple of months, which means she walking around reaching for things that used to be beyond her reach. My indoor plants have had a wonderful little perch on the window sill in our living room for quite a while. It has the perfect amount of light during the winter months. So my plants need a new home...and I don't want to spend a lot of money.

So I found this cool blog with instructions on how to make your own macrome plant hangers
