Stitch n Bitch this week....

Hi ladies,

I will not be joining you on Wednesday for Stitch n Bitch. My mom and I will be enjoying the California sunshine while we are visiting my brother and his wife.

Las Vegas

Just wanted to take a minute to post a video of the watershow Paul and I saw on our trip to Vegas this week.

Viva Las Vegas

Paul and I will be enjoying a couple of days in Las Vegas next week....Stitch n Bitch is canceled for May 6, 2009. We will be meeting again on May 13, 2009. Let me know if you need a ride or would like to come to our meetings, by leaving a comment.

Stitch n Bitch Meeting for Wednesday

Our weekly stitch n bitch meeting will be at our usual location this week.  Please let me know if you need ride or can't make the meeting.

One plane ride from tropical paradise to the snowy Northwest

Paul and I had a great time in Kauai last week. We went snorkeling, and adventuring to almost every corner of the island.



For those of you who are Elivis fans, we stayed within a coconut's throw of the once famous resort Coco Palms. It was my grandmother's favorite place in Hawaii. Coco Palms is the only hotel that is still shuttered from Hurricane Iniki in 1992.



Since Paul and I visited Arizona's Grand Canyon last June we thought it only appropriate that we visit Hawaii's Grand Canyon Waimea Canyon. The views that we were able to see were beautiful, unfortunately the best views were clouded over so we will have to visit the island again when the weather is better.



Once we traveled above the waterfall we were clouded in and no more views could be seen.

Next week's meeting will be at our usual location, but I will not be attending. Paul and I will be in Hawaii enjoying a few days of sun and sandy beaches.

Ok....Stitch n Bitch will be having its first meeting of the new year. We will be meeting in Bell Town at the Uptown Espresso. Meeting time will be 7pm. Please call me -- since I don't have access to the internet at my new house yet -- if you need a ride.

Wednesday, December 10, 2008 Stitch n Bitch

Hi Ladies,

Wednesday's meeting will be at the Uptown Espresso at Fourth and Vine st. I am on "standby" for work this week so I won't know until about 1pm on Wednesday if I will be working Wednesday night or coming to stitch n bitch.

Andre and Jane - I'm not sure if I will be able to give you a ride or not. I'll send you both emails as to my work status on Wednesday afternoon.
